Waterboy,
Maybe we can post ides for any rule changes prior to a conference call. This may eliminate/resolve issues instead of wasting time on the conference call.
For class 6, in order to keep the class affordable, I would like to see:
1) No engines with Blower/turbocharger
2) A stock Bravo I or stock Bravo XR. No setback boxes or Imco Speedmaster type drives.
3) Engines that run on 93 octane or less????

Possible Class 6 Line Up: (so far)
1) Cotner Trailers, 26' Corsa, 496
2) Not Guilty, 25' Warlock, 500 HP
3) The old "Not Guilty", 24 Sunsation, unknown power
4) Lock'd Up, 24' Sunsation, 482
5) Purple Batboat, 24'
6) Red Batboat, 24'
7) Silver Batboat, 24'
8) Gino's Joker, 26 Joker, 425?
9) Crocket Rocket, 26 Joker 425?
10) Old School, 24 Bananna, Twin 200 OB's ??
11) Thunderstruck 26' Profile? Power???
12) Anyone else???

Waterboy, could you post the lineup for class 5?

Just my .02 cents...

1) No Blowers - agreed
2) Drives - I do not agree with stock bravo. As we all know they are fragile at best in behind anything above 500hp. We need to keep in mind one of the biggest complaints from spectators is broken boats. I say no regulation on drives - even speedies. Speedmasters have more losses so more hp to turn, are often priced similar to bravos yet provide more durability.
3) I like the 93 or less and should be a rule, but tough to govern.

Driver & throttle man has to be at least 500lbs and wear a blindfold:evilb:

Wahoo ATV 02-13-2009 12:22 PM

Why not make a min height of 4'-7" in Class 6. That will keep Tyler out!

Fast Shafts 02-13-2009 12:32 PM

I don't know who has better rules, Paradise or Wahoo!!

Fast Shafts 02-15-2009 08:10 PM

Where is everyone??? Would anyone in class 6 like to run 50 miles instead of 40?? I would. Any thoughts on prize payout or tow packages??

sbracing 02-16-2009 06:30 AM

500 horsepower limit

No min. height. Would like to see Tyler/George back, just not
the Destroyer engine.

There had been discussion regarding lowering of speed to 65 MPH.

Other than that in class 6, If it ain't broke....

As far as tow money, no entry fee is the tow money.

I'm not against spreading purse farther into the field.
