Hi Kirk, If the running lenght is under 30 ft you are good for class 5. The twin IO boats are ok, provided it does fall within the speed bracket of the class. We might have to go for a spin. If you have any questions 732 920 3945. Gimmie a buzz. Smitty
Hey guys, what a can of worms I seem to have opened up here. I would like to run a race this year and see how it goes. I was just looking on your website to see where I would fit in. Hence the questons? I applause all of you racers for your commitment to the sport. I think you all are extremely lucky to have Smitty in charge of your organization, You have a great thing going and it must be very difficult to keep everybody happy. Right off the bat he answered my questions and gave me his number. I'm not asking for any exeptions to the rules if I fit in class 5 rules I would prefer to race there. This is a full pleasure boat with stock Mercury 454 Mag MPI total 770 HP with a best ever top speed of 78 MPH more realistick speed of 75MPH. I would have to take the coolers, anchor, kids toys, make sure there was nothing in the fridge, duct tape the microwave door closed, take out the porta potty before the race. I understand the racers in P-5 want to keep the integrety of there class and the competition fair. But I really don't think you have to worry about me. Keep up the great job you guys are doing and good luck this year. And If everthing goes OK this summer hopefully I'll get a chance to meet some of you. Thanks, Kirk |
Look foward to meeting you Kirk.

Kirk,
Sunsation is having their owners rally at the Harrison Twp Michigan race July 24-26. They are also very involved in the race, so we are considering a race of just sunsation boats as a demonstration. We will also have a charity radar run, Sunsation Poker Run and Entertainment. Come over race the boat and hangout with 150 other Sunsation guys too. www.HarrisonOffshore.com |
