I think if you took off the blower belts, two of the four carbs, added 5000 lbs, you could still run class 5. I dont think there is any rule about Cats.

Hey Chris GOOD FOR YOU ! I jumped in the same way and have no regrets. You Have the right guy to keep u alive and wait to u feel how your blood moves going fast in a cat. If I can figure out how to drive my boat maybe we can put on a good show runnin against those big half pint motors with our little 750's. Afterall I love Herbie ( half pint ) and I'm glad he knows that he needs twice the hp to hang with us

You're right Herb build some bass a@@ Sh@t. I can't wait to start turning some laps and getting use to the boat and the equipment.
Ocean City is just around the corner and man I can't wait to get my blood pumping........(in class 5 of course) ha ha
