Great area guys...trust me when it gets bumpy up here its real nasty...ide rather do 4-5 footers in the ocean...Its one of the busiest weekends of the season....good job OPA...

Thank you so much for your support of my inaugural "Lake Erie Boat Week" event, featuring an OPA Racing Offshore Powerboat Race on the shores of Port Clinton, Ohio, the week of September 1-6, 2009!
The first "Lake Erie Boat Week" Volunteer Meeting is scheduled for:

OurGuest Inn & Suites (the "Official Host Hotel" for Lake Erie Boat Week)
Downtown Port Clinton, Ohio
This meeting is intended for anyone who has already signed up to be a "Lake Erie Boat Week" Volunteer (thank you), OR anyone who may be interested in getting involved in the event in any way (on the water or on shore).
A detailed overview of the "Lake Erie Boat Week" event will be given, as well as an overview of all volunteer positions needed. Questions will be answered from anyone in attendance, and Volunteer Registration Forms will be available at the meeting.
You can also check out the official Lake Erie Boat Week website at www.LakeErieBoatWeek.com. All of the information you need to know is posted there, and there's a special "Volunteers" section that will address anyone wishing to help out during the week.
If you are a potential sponsor or vendor, you are also welcome to attend this general informational meeting.
