OC Race - Clam Bake

On Saturday (May 30) the Berlin Volunteer Fire Company is hosting a clam bake from 6-10pm at their firehouse. They have asked me to post this where the race teams will see it, so here it is. Berlin is located just a few miles outside of Ocean City and would like to have two or three race boats on display during their event to help draw in the people. In return, they will work out a deal (probably free admission) on the ticket price with the race teams that bring their boats to display. They said that this offer is good only for the first two or three teams to contact them.

The menu for the event will be:

- Steamed Clams
- Raw Clams
- Clam Fritters
- Clam Strips
- Fried Chicken
- Corn on the Cob
- New Potatoes
- Soda
- Beer

This is an all you can eat/drink deal. Normal ticket price is $35, but if you are one of the first two or three teams to call and are willing to bring your boat and put it on display, they will give you free or substantially discounted admission.

For more information contact Bill Tilghman from Monday-Friday 9am-4pm at (410) 289-4346.

Give Bill Tilghman a call Monday AM. 410-289-4346 I have already heard from a few teams via e-mail and PM that want in on this deal, but I think he only has room for two or three boats. All are welcome of course, but from what I understand the deal will be made with only the first two or three to call.

The Jersey Boyz "Condo" is up for this deal.

You have no idea how good that sounds to an up north person that has lived in the Keys for 20 years and miss that menu so much. Key West only knows Cuban pork, black beans & rice and conch fritters.
Augie........mail me some REAL food

It would be nice, but I doubt it because it is an all you can eat event.
