Where are all the boats? The list posted a few weeks ago had a lot more boats. Where is Motley Crew, Popeyes, Peppers, Cintron, WHM amongst others. This is usually the largest race of the year other than Key West.

Walking the street last night I thought the same. Guess some teams couldn't make due to the economy/travel? Anyways, a big THANKS for those that made it to St. Clair. Should be good races regardless. Big crowd last night and probably bigger tonight - lots to do! Heading down soon - what time are the skiffs running today? Not in the program and didn't see anything posted.

Skiffs race will start at 4pm.

Keep in my mind those lists are made by people promoting the race, so some of it might of been more hope than anything, Some of those teams never intended on being there yet somehow made it on the lists, then the fans get disappointed and think teams bailed out, when in reality, they were never going to be there. Maybe only confirmed teams should be put on those lists in the future to keep expectations more realistic?

Which teams are you speaking of? most on the list appear to be there in Jeff's pitures

he was talking about the list of who was coming, it was about twice as many as what jeff posted... hence why he asked where all the boats were. They had listed some 60 or 70 boats that were supposed to be there.

The list that are posted before any race is a wish list, you never know till race day.
37 boats isnt a bad field in todays economy, I think it is going to get harder and harder for a lot of teams to keep up if things dont get better SOON!
I know its all we can do to complete a full 8 race schedule this yr for us.

My guess is if you add the inflatiables and skiffs you are closer to 55 boats. There are also boats here not on Jeffs list.
