Preserving OPA history
I have been looking at some of the threads in the historic racing section and got to thinking. How are we gonna preserve the history of OPA and it's racers?
I was thinking how about a "Hall of Champions" thing in the OPA website and may be a trophy or plaque with the class champions for C1-6 on it for each year. If we had something like that where would we keep it? Or how about championship rings, like NCCA rings or something? Or even a year end OPA magazine that highlighted the season and listed championships and results? What do you guys think? |
keeping track of the history of offshore has always been lacking. It would be nice to know who did what years from now.

One thing most dont realize, I will have to look into it. But the OPA has been in business for around 32 years.
Dean we do have a hall of champions, it is just not so politically correct, otherwise known as the STUGGOTS CUP. Which by the way is coming back to JERSEY. |
Where it BELONGS! Oh an Dean, you have a lot of space Bro.
