Preserving OPA history

I have been looking at some of the threads in the historic racing section and got to thinking. How are we gonna preserve the history of OPA and it's racers?

I was thinking how about a "Hall of Champions" thing in the OPA website and may be a trophy or plaque with the class champions for C1-6 on it for each year. If we had something like that where would we keep it? Or how about championship rings, like NCCA rings or something? Or even a year end OPA magazine that highlighted the season and listed championships and results?

What do you guys think?

keeping track of the history of offshore has always been lacking. It would be nice to know who did what years from now.

One thing most dont realize, I will have to look into it. But the OPA has been in business for around 32 years.
Dean we do have a hall of champions, it is just not so politically correct, otherwise known as the STUGGOTS CUP. Which by the way is coming back to JERSEY.

Where it BELONGS! Oh an Dean, you have a lot of space Bro.

Yes Augie, broken leg and all..:drink:

It is important to have so many photographs of our sport and its racers.
It is one way to carry on the memories forever..

And in this one particular photograph, Scott Rogers' memory will be carried on...

The number one reason I take my photography of Offshore so seriously.

We have to remember the players involved....

God Bless...
