Offshore Events LLC, the promoter has worked hard to feature the Miami Marine Stadium in their whole programming. There will be many important people in the boating and boat racing fields at June 12 event.
This is should be a great, fun evening-and a wonderful way to make contacts with people who can help us bring back the Marine Stadium. The Live/Silent auction is extremely important to us-as we are now working on funding a necessary engineering study of the Foundation of the Stadium. The amazing photographs the Marine Stadium by Jay Koengisberg will comprise some of the items to be auctioned.
We hope you can make it!

For Closed Circuit Connection Directions
Here is what is required:
1. Video system or large screen television
2. Broadband connection to the internet. At least 1.5 meg/sec.
3. Laptop or workstation available to use during the race
4. PC to TV connection capability
Newer televisions and video systems will have the ability to connect directly to the video output of a computer. A simple VGA cable is all that is required. The computer should be a newer computer with significant amount of memory and a powerful CPU for best results.
Generally larger/newer bars and hotels will have the capabilities already built into their video system. Connecting to the race broadcast is as simple as getting online, browsing to the supercatracing.com web site and double clicking the live web video to view it full screen.
In some cases when an establishment does not currently have PC to TV connectivity and only has an older large screen TV, additional equipment will need to be purchased. An inexpensive work around is a piece of gear known as a PC-To-TV converter box. They sell for about $100-$150 at Best Buy or Radio Shack and are completely plug and play. It is as simple as plugging one end into the video output on the computer and then connecting the color coded RCA cable to the TV. You can then select the proper input on the TV remote control to gain access to the internet. I have not as yet run into any place that could not be connected.
In some cases a larger establishment has a large number of video monitors scattered throughout the nightclub. This is usually pretty easy to overcome. Most of these places will have a central video/equipment closet that contains all of the right equipment. Once again if there is not currently internet connectivity a simple converter box or cable can be added.
The technology for this is not only several years old but is also very very basic. I provide assistance either over the phone or visit in person the week of the race to verify connectivity. We are contemplating staying in touch with the advertisers throughout the race season. That way if an establishment wants to continue promoting offshore racing parties even if the race is not in their city they can do so. We can interact with them over the phone or by Skype during subsequent races. I would like to see a dozen or so accounts willing to continue participating with us from every city. We can then do broadcast shout outs, advertising and promotion for the following years race. Rather than being only a single race, they would have the ability to watch and participate with all of the races. Scheduling autograph signing parties with the racers at some places will give the fans a feeling of knowing the racers when they watch them race.

Because Marty at Supercat racing had a death in the family he won't be able to attend this race. Brad is trying to patch things together in order to do a live feed of some sort. I understand Martin and Mikey will be working together on the broadcast. It may be broadcast over Supercat racing or it may be over www.offshoreevents.net
