how to start racing opa class 5 or 6
 

i want to get into racing opa class 5 or 6 next year i work for a big hazmat company called CLEAN HARBORS enviromental services corporate office is in norwood mass, i work out of ct i was woundering how to put a proposell together to have clean harbors sponsor a boat in one of the classes were do i start should i contact smitty ,

Do a search here on OSO. I remember a thread was started with discussion on how to land a sponsor.

If I am not mistaken, Clean Harbors also has an office in NJ ?

I think the shop I worked for did all of the maintenance on their boom boats... :confused:

How to start racing in C-5 or C-6

1. Get a boat
2. Build a ton of HP
3. Get a line of Credit with Budwiser
4. Drop a brown bag of Vig off to Augie
5. Have a blast.

Attend a race or two this year. Meet the people, get ideas, learn about the classes. Understand what a racing buget would look like, then write your proposal.
