He sure did.....Like I said before people spend big money trying to catch him.. That boat was a sleeper. There was a red one that ran real well too, along with a yellow 3 man bolster one that Camilo put together brand new that ran hard but still blew the motor after trying to catch the old man.

Thanks for the feedback guys -
Does this boat have a Pantera 24 bottom , or closer to the Carerra bottom ?

The Jaws does not have the same bottom as the pantera. The Pantera is a little different, it has like a pad in the rear bottom of the transom and the boat is actually smaller.

Thought I saw a pad on the orange one previous page, but could be an illusion.

Look at page 5 post # 47 so that you can see what I'm talking about.

Lowblue- No pad on the 89 Jaws. Seems like you have good knowledge of older Race boats would like to know more about the Old Jaws boats. Went by the site of Jaws Lorequin a couple months ago and all closed up with Federal no trespassing signs posted. I love the way the Jaws rides and handles for a 24x7 hull.

Wow, I haven't been there in years but couldn't imagen they would be closed up as (Vicente) the owner of Lorequin Marine (Jaws) really wasn't building these type of boats as his bread and butter. He was into comercial fishing boats etc., thats what he built the most of. I believe he started first building the 24 but has building comercial fishing boats for years.
