Optima batteries

Another quick question about the Optima batteries we are going to be getting. Does anyone know what group size we will be getting?? When I looked on Optima's website it looked to me that there are 4 differant sizes of the Blue Top Marine battery. We need to buy battery boxes to fit them and I need to know which boxes to buy.

Also is there anyone giving out a discount on Optima Battery boxes?? Beings most of us need to buy atleast 2 each. Is there any manufactuers out there that would like to give OPA Racers a discount on a couple??? I figure even half the teams that register x2 is a lot of boxes.

Thanks!
John

OPTIMA Batteries sizes for battery boxes

Hello,
The entire team at OPTIMA Batteries is really excited to be a part of the OPA. Going forward I will be answering any questions you may have. We do not have a specific supplier for battery boxes. Below is a list of specificatons for our BlueTop marine battery line. All of the batteries listed below are dual purpose, meaning they are deep cycle/cranking batteries. We are putting together an order form for OPA members so we can get the ball rolling on the battery orders. Ron will be sending the order form to all OPA members who are running this coming season. I look forward to working with all of you this year.

Thank you,
Wally

I never thought about that!! See, you guys are always one step ahead of us. I originally thought of a small bungy chord with 2 zinc plated eyelets. Thats not out just gotta get the boat and see how they fit.

Thanks for the idea though Rich!!!

C'mon big John, you're on Curtis Creek; fish out two Trojans (make sure they are reservoir end in case you do a LOTO run), borrow a couple of bobby pins from some Hon's and you got yourself some tiedowns!
