Looking for a wheel man !!

Looking for someone that wants to drive my 27 Kryptonite with a 500efi in Class 5 with me this season. My primary candidate was just informed his fiance' is pregnant so he needs to direct his time and money elsewhere (putting an addition on his house starting July 1st). Must have a capable tow vehicle, some go fast boat operation experience, some mechanical knowledge helpful and be available for the majority of the following dates :

You will pay the 1 time registration fee for us and the boat in the amount of $1300.00, 50% of the fuel costs, and $500 per race. The per race cost is open for negotiations if you bring any sponsorship monies to the boat and i will also give you 25% of any purse monies won. It's a good deal, someone should snap this right up. Good luck Bernie.

That sounds like a sweet deal to me but the problem is I just got a new job in Feb 2011 after being unemployed for 17 months. I have to re-build my budget all over again. The cost is too rich for me. My dream still stands.

Best of good luck to you Bernie!

Chris

How much does the boat weigh? As long as your under 8000lbs my 03 Tahoe would be good to go. The AC and shore dreams trip should be no problem. Id love to get into racing but i dont think i have enough hours behind the wheel yet. Are there tryouts? haha

If i had the money i would jump right on this. Id be willing to help out free of charge. Im right in LBI. Good Luck!

boat is 4700 lbs plus the aluminum trailer...under 7,000lbs. i'm thinking i priced it VERY aggressively. I know most are charging $2-$2500 per race @ 5 races is $10-$12,500. the way i set it up should cost someone approx $6000 for the season MINUS any sponsorship monies they can find and any purse monies.

haha im a poor college kid so any money is a lot of money but if ya need someone to tow the boat or even someone to wrench a little id be more then willing to help. As for sponsors i may be able to help you there. I have a couple clients that wouldnt mind throwing their name on the side of a boat. Shoot me an email with some more info.
