This is the most information online I've been able to find. I've been in contact with Coutney in reference to a Schedule of Events and it should be available soon

The information so far has been very poor. I have been emailing the Port Huron and Sarnia Convention and Tourism Bureau's to get more information as to where everything is setup on both sides of the border etc.. If people don't know where to go to see the International Offshore Powerboat Race, then how do they expect race fans and Tourist to come and watch the races? It is great that they are holding this race but the info is lacking and that hurts attendance at the race and hurts the race. I know that it is their first time holding this race and don't want to ***** about it but race information is just as important as the race if not more. Hopefully they will listen to what people have to say and correct it for next year.

I am not in the know on the race, but I know the area extremely well. On the US side you will want to view from Desmond Landing. It is right in the middle of everything and I sure the race will be centered around it. Bars, Food, plenty of space.

On the Canadian side the Pointe Edward Casino would be a center of activity and viewing.

These are just guesses.

You need to give this race a chance, when it is in full swing it could revail any site. If they go out into the lake, it could become legendary.

That info sounds great Dean thanks and you said "I'm not in the know on the race". Have gotten more info from you and Trick Rick. I also remember going to the races there back in the 1990's and when they raced in Lake Huron no one could see them other then other then the spectator fleet and when they went out to the Lake and when they came back. That sucked for spectators but was probably great for the racers as Lake Huron can get some big water. As for giving them a chance I agree but they should have some simple information available for people. I'm looking forward to this race as well as St. Clair Classic.
