Port Huron Racers Packet
As promised, I have submitted the racers packet to OPA, and I am just waiting for them to upload it to the website.
All the information is in there, with the exception of any maps. There were some last minute changes, and the maps need to be recreated now. They will be up by Monday at the latest though. However, the racers packet (minus maps), should be up tonight, as soon as OPA puts them onto the website. Courtney International Offshore Powerboat Race Chairman |
Thank You Courtney

Thanks Courtney!!!
1 quick question, With the packet stating that all paperwork in registration must be signed before entry into the pits, is there a staging area that we can park, while not blocking traffic, so this can be handled and then be permitted into the pit area for further assignment? |
Yes, Desmond Landing is an11 acre area down by the water, that is slightly secluded from the main road. We do have an area designated as the staging area, and when the maps are released come Monday, you will see where it is located on the premises.
Also when you guys come into town, we will have people on sight ready to direct you. I don't know if you are attending the St.Clair Race the weekend before, but I wonder if we could have people register for Port Huron as well at St.Clair? In your opinion, would that help out some of the racers? Let me know what you think, and I will see if it is even a possibility. Thanks, Courtney |
Thanks for the insight Courtney and more importantly thank you and your staff in advance for all the hard work and effort to bring us into your town.
As far as doing the paper work in St Clair, which I think would be great, however, I think that insurance and waiver restrictions prevent them being signed in advance of the actual event, but keep in mind I'm just a racer, I am not in the know either way. I would suggest you consult Allan/Smitty to get a definitive answer. Thanks again, Trent |
