Everyone is talking about how Louie's race is going to be canceled and all this crazy jibber jabber crap online. But I am telling you right now that you need to shut your mouth, Twitter/facebook/oso/sos. That hurricane **** is going to hit us Monday, Sunday at best. By then, it will probably have been downgraded to a tropical depression like a little *****, and then it can scurry up to your front yard and you might notice a wind gust or two.

Regardless, PATCHOGUE is going to be a good one this weekend, I can feel it. Even if the hurricane hits, we are in water – we are golden. Michigan Mafia will be in full effect, unless we are detained but the police again due to a series of unfortunate events that in now way were our fault. Not to worry, the Michigan Mafia always finds a way!

I guess Louie is doing this down town boat thing on Friday. To be honest we were not going to go, until I read “open bar on Augie”, at which point I decided that something had to happen to get Team PFE on the scene. Nothing is set in stone, yet, but count on possibly but definitely maybe catching a glimpse of how Michigan can tear up a town. Open bar, dude. OPEN BAR...

the velocity posted ... 68 M.P.H. well below the Crockett Rocket Record After some thought the P.F.E. group changed the cam timing an recorded 68 again. more thought!!!! Captian Cook decided to throw Rick out for weight reduction thereby improving the Speed. Rick however resisted as Capt. Cook Is more rotund. Ricks' 75 pound daughter was not standing by as she does around The Crockett boat putting presure on Crocketts slightly overweight driver. The final SPEED ----68---NOT BAD FOR P6

I heard the speed was considerably higher!

Ran well above the number needed to win our class but could not break the 88mph speed. Graig and Gary were going to tweek the timing a little more but Gary did not want to risk hurting the race motor.

Next year we will bring the big motor made just for this one event and expect to run well over 90mph.

Sorry about that Rick I made a typo error.I meant 88 not 68. Its hard to break out at a shoot out. Whats Captian Garys Secret? Tylers working on a top secret Motor for next years shoot out.It will be very light weight I think it may be out of BAMBO. The Crockett Team

At the end of the course (shut down area) I did a offshore 80mph hard right hand turn and flew into the no wake zone. They said It was close to the spectator fleet and they thought we "hooked" or something was wrong or broke.. wimps

I'm disappointed in you. Tyler would have spun it all the way out!

Something tells me triple digits are gonna be needed next year....


Congrats on the title for 2011. What was the old speed?

The record is 90 mph. the old record was 87 prior to 8/29/10 Tyler was able to squeeze out 90 to set the current record. The PFE boys can take some comfort in knowing they ran better than the old record. Tyler is planing a return next year with his latest offering from the Ruby Dyno shop. he promised to kill me if I reveal any of the details. Grumpyg

I realize our pump gas motor was unable to reach the speeds set by you guys the previous with your 800hp hi compression race fuel monster.. but we went fast enough to finish above the other guys.. if you would have taken the time to show up we would have found another "gear" for you as well. :eek:

Next year we will bring the power and I pray our bondo bucket will hold together for a least 1 ???mph run. No Blower, No NOS, no turbos.. = no chance for you guys against our P.O.S. pad boat and if by chance you happen to get close we have our secret weapon.

At least I put a streamed lined jacket on her when she went faster than you guys ever been. 90 mph is all you guys had to do and you guys finished behind us again and we didn't even have to show up to defed our selves. I bet the rest of the class 6 boats can crack 89. And keep Sabrina away from Garys wife and all that cooking she slowed the velosity down 6 miles an hour. And bring our checkerd flag back from Port Huron you have to earn those not steal them !!!! :|
