Its great to read about a thriving org that thinks to keep and develop additional boats and racers. Smitty and the entire OPA management have always been great to our needs when we had the opportunity to race, and we where always on a budget. If you can do much of the handy work yourself, and research costs, you will always save. Ed stated it best that the fun and enjoyment factor is priceless, and the competition is awesome. The friendships are lifelong and one of a kind. Not to mention, the learning that one can achieve is also great!

Apparently Louie, they don't teach cell phone usage in Mercury's Master Mechanics class........ John keeps using the right and left buttons on the phone in an attempt to trim the phone. I don't even want to guess as to what he uses as practice for the throttle.........
