Tawas what a great race site
 

I cant say enough good things about the tawas race .
The fans were off the hook:evilb:
All the bars and shops were super friendly .
The people that made this race happen did a outstanding job .
The course was great from a racers pointe of view and great for the fans to watch.
I really hope this race stays as part of the opa tour.:thankyouthankyou:

What a great site! you guys that werent able to make it out, make sure you put this on your schedule for next year. Fantastic site on every level. From accessibility to the town and enthusiasm of the people to the coarse and viewing area. All of it top notch.

This was along a quarter mile long pier that we raced down that was six people deep all day.

Looked like an awesome sight, cant wait to be there next year!

These two clips are maybe thirty seconds apart. As soon as we stopped rolling the crown just converged in around. I bet a had a couple hundred kids on this ratty ol batboat for pics, they loved it. Had to tell everyone we pulled it out of the paint shop wednesday afternoon to be there, should'a put more stickers on it lol. Also for future reference to any teams going next year bring lots of Sharpies lol.

awesome site...not that i have been doin this as long as alot of you guys but in my short 4 years i've never felt so welcomed at any race site. we were overwhelmed by the people, musta been thanked for comeing atliest 100 times...even the law enforcement was great...where ever you were there was a police officer stopping traffic for ya whether it was to pull in the pits, the launch, downtown, whatever. So you guys that didnt make it, its a must for next year
