This information is correct...I have been to Tawas City a million times already and I know what that city looks like. There are several different locations of ramps that you can launch your boat during that weekend. You can go to Jerrys Marina as the information show above....OR....there is a brand new ramp about 2 miles south of Tawas City downtown.

Yes the race did take place and the OPA staff is currently in transport.. Official Results and updates should be out tomorrow afternoon

Based off of FaceBook: Class 3 winner: Bull on the Beach
Class 4 winner: Crockett
Class 5 winner: Pushin Tin
Class 6 winner: Hurricane Force

Yep the race went on 20+ boats a lot of them broke down including ours on the forth lap. Official results are not out yet.

East Tawas is an awesome race location. The local people are great and I can't wait to race Tawas again next year.
