We were at LOTO over Memorial Day weekend, and it seems that the fans and vendors alike are ready for the invasion of race boats in a couple of weeks. Based on other threads, I know that it is a haul for many of you, but be assured that you will have a great time, and you will be impressed with the LOTO venue. There is no doubt that each one of you will be appreciated for showing up and racing. What a great opportunity to expand the sport of boat racing.

Ahh the good ole days, Couple pics of me in there !

I just saw a notification of the street party that will be held on Friday evening in conjunction with these races. It should be a great time for everybody to check out the boats and intermingle with the racers. If you sell t-shirts, koozies, or whatever to help pay for your expenses, bring plenty of inventory!

It is very clear that LOTO is going to have races moving forward, whether it is OPA, or another organizer. I hope that OPA is able to get the boat count to where they do not go looking elsewhere. Take a look at this race program and compare it to the program of some of the other race sites. I hope to see as many of you as possible at Lake Race 2014!

Damn, Even getting Curt back in town. I think it may be a bit better this year, Although some billboards still have not been updated on the west side of the lake, I have seen them advertising on the Television that the races will be broadcast on the Fox station I beleive, I think its local 22 maybe.

On our way from Las Vegas. Can't wait, gonna try and make the poker run too, we will see what happens.

FYI- if you're pulling your boats to LOTO and need 93 octane gas, it is hard to find on land at LOTO. Fill up your tanks at Kingdom City on highway 54 on the way! If you don't mind paying top dollar 93 is everywhere on the water and 103 is available as well.
