REMINDER!

PHYSICALS:
Racers need to submit a document stating that you are fit to race this year with OPA. The only documents that are acceptable will be a medical note from your doctor on their prescription pad stating that it is okay for you to race with OPA for the 2014 season, a complete copy of your physical or CDL documents that are within 2 years from today's date. You MUST make a copy of the physial to hand in to OPA registration for their files. We will not accept a copy of the card anymore, we need the documents that you were given when you did the medical exam. The only other document that is acceptable is a Class 3 license or better acquired from airports. If any of the above expires during to the 2014 race season you will be required to submit a new copy of your physical, CDL documentation, etc., in order to complete the 2014 race season.

SWIM & DUNKER TESTING:
All Unrestrained & Restrained Competitors MUST complete an Annual Swim Test. Swim test certification is only good for the current race season and cannot not be carried over to the next race season, nor from a previous race season. In addition to the Swim Test, all Restrained Competitors MUST complete a "Self Extrication Course". This Cell Test certification is only good for the current race season and cannot not be carried over to the next race season, nor from a previous race season. All 2014 testing certifications are good through the 2014 Racing Season which ends on October 5, 2014. OPA ONLY accepts certifications administered by OPA officials. OPA does NOT accept certifications granted by other sanctioning bodies.
-Swim Test ONLY is $20.00 per participant
-Dunker Test (Self Extrication Course) is $40.00 per participants

APBA Membership dues
The remainder of 2014 OPA Racing season races will be a joint sanction with American Power Boat Association (APBA). All APBA membership dues must be paid in full in order to be eligible to race. The required amount is $150.00 per racing member; $60.00 per non-racing/crew member. APBA membership forms will be available in registration for the St Clair River Classic. Payment options include: Cash, Credit Card & Check made payable to APBA. If you a current member of APBA, please provide your current APBA membership card in registration for proof of membership. APBA membership dues are in addition to all OPA fees/dues.
