Atlantic City Hotels?

I am currently looking at inexpensive places to stay in Atlantic City. Since I have never been there, anyone have any ideas of a fairly inexpensive place?

Now for half the price or more, I heard a lot of people stay out at the common name brand hotels on either Black Horse Pike or White Horse Pike

The Comfort Inn on Rt. 30 is popular with racers on a budget. It's 5 miles from the wet pits and 1/4 price of AC Casinos. Just avoid the hotels with a 4 hour special!
