Fall River Grand Prix
 

Everything is in order here in Fall River. Just waiting for the race boats to show up. The race has created a tremendous excitement in the area. For those who need race fuel, VP 109 is available, at the pump, at exit 2 on rt 195 in MA. Columbus Energy is located on rt 6 about 5 miles from the race. Hope to see everyone there.

Things look good, i towed my 40' fountain on my big trailer through the race site and neighboring streets this week, all good for a 50' trailer behind a crew cab dually. If anyone needs assistance or parts pm me I'll be on site with team liquid courage, boxer and nopper marine

Lookin' forward to it!!!! So much so, I'm skipping the Wed night NOFX show.

Ferry st Fall River mass is the marina, Depending on trailer size I can recommend a route, enter by club st off of bay st.
95 north to 195 east into Fall River. If it were me towing anything bigger than a class 6 boat you may want to get off at exit 3 in Swansea, rte 103 to rte 6, to rte 79 in Fall River. Rte 79 becomes davol st, this is where it gets tight, but is doable, davol st to water st, left on water, right on ferry, left on almond, right on William, turns into bay right on club st. I went this route last weekend, it's tight but doable. If anyone wants a less cluttered route but 6 miles out of the way pm me

Amazing............can't miss event! From a spectator's point of view it went off without a hitch. You would have thought this was the 10th annual rather than the first ever event here. Already looking forward to next year.

Good time!! Glad to see so many spectators!!!!! Hope they come back next year for another event!!!

ANY results from Fall River?????

What a terrific new site! I think the course design will attract more racers for next year. There were some logistical issues that seemed like they would be difficult but the organizers did a terrific job putting bodies out there with orange shirts and radios to help solve them . All the staff were so awesome! I just can't give enough kudos.

Thanks to all involved !!!! Everything was close and local so it was great for fans and family that they didn't have to leave the pits. All the volunteers in the orange shirts did a fantastic job and were some of the most friendly volunteers I have ever worked with at an event . Racers party's with food and breakfast in the pits was great both days. Its on my list for next year if they have it again!!!!!!

Great job to all those who made it happen! Was nice to see all the Jersey Boys who could make it up here. I'm sure more will come for next years event. Congrats to Mike, Ernie and all the helpers involved.

Just joining in the conversation. Thank you for the positive feedback. It was an amazing weekend. Everyone was wonderful to deal with from the Coast Guard, OPA Officials, the racers and their families....oh and Dee!!
The Tipsy staff, crew and volunteers worked very hard and did a wonderful job. We will keep you posted about next year!
