Default Running twin outboards in class 5?

I know the rules says single engine, but I see a superboat with twin mercs in the teams page. Is it legal? Thanks for any info.

I would call Opa directly. Dee or Smitty. Pretty sure you would be in 4 , regardless of that particular boat.

There are afew boats that are grandfathered into class 5 from back when the rules were slightly different. Specialized Racing and Dock blood are 2 that come to mind, along with the old who's your daddy mirage with the smallblocks. But like brian said check with smitty or dee if you want a direct answer about a particular boat.
