Standard Bravo-1 lower units, before the days of the XR. We obviously did major internal mods to keep them alive, Imco bi-directional internals, Dick Simon Gold Tip prop shafts, after market top cap, drilled out tower and installed stainless steel versions. We gutted the boxes and used the really long Imco torsional shafts.

boxes are non-adjustable, have'nt touched it since i bought it,std length lower, std 30 pitch bravo, hope this helps.

My question was more directed to AppSysCons. I was trying to find if he moved his motors, boxes or both?

My boat was factory setup, with side-by side bravos, on boxes, middle hole. I did change the drive gear ratio, when I put the bigger motors in. Hull #24 |

So when you gutted the inside of the boxes for the long shafts, you just had to install the couplers and you were good to go? |
