Any smaller cats coming out in the 42-44 foot range.

We are working on a 40 foot range cat now. We have the final design under way. Give me a call or email on Monday, I'll fill you in.

I cant see the link but I know for the fact it cant be the either the Class 1 boat nor the pleasure boat in rigging. The Class 1 boat is being prepped in Italky for the upcoming Class 1 race.

I am from Waterloo IA, but I boat in Prairie Du Chien, WI. The guy that owns this boat is from Olewein Iowa.

Here's a sneak peak of the 48 Cat in rigging. All the black on the boat is clear (real) Carbon Fiber.

Any details on power, anything else or does everything have to be kept secret on this one too...???

The boat will be powered by a large pair of Outerlimits Powertrain motors. The last one was kept on the down low as per the request of the customer and is being prepped for the upcoming class 1 race in Europe.

The Class 1 boat is already in Italy and the Carbon cat will be stationed just outside the states in Canada.

OL40, Can you update us on the Carbon Boat?
There is another thread where someone posted that the 1750HP were replaced with 1200 Mercs?

I would hate that for the owner after all the hard work OL, Whipple, and all did on that bad boy cat.

Maybe just talk, who knows. Or working out the bugs.

Awesome job on all of the new OL's coming out.

I know the motors were swapped for 1075/1200's, but am not sure of the specifics. Beautiful boat!

That would have been one of the fastest Cats out there.

E85 and 1750HP would have really been something to see.

For now, the boat will run with the Mercury 1200sci while we dial in the big set of motors. They will be going back in the boat once complete.
