I've got a line on four 1550 Steerlings, 2 crash boxes and 2 sets of headers. Zero hours on rebuild. Complete set up for two motors and 2 back up motors. They could be turned down and run on pump gas. Bunch of spare parts with them too.

Congrats on the purchase. I would love to see the boat with some big power, and get more of th OL attitude.

Congrats! I'm glad someone bought it, at least the temptation is gone now!

Out of curiosity, given the super low price why didn't you just buy it complete? I didn't look at it for the last month (it was getting far too tempting!), but did Scott part it out and only want to sell it off that way given no takers on the complete package?

Trond from Nor-Tech owned the boat.

Oh I didn't realize that before now, but I guess that expalins a lot of the 'redo' and how/where it was done.

Scot, lots of others out there! Dont forget, we're pleasure boaters and spend nights on the boat...you need a cabin! Hmmm, I may need to start another Scot+new hull thread! haha...

Yeah, that and me parting with that many George Washington's is why I pasted on it, but I was very tempted at that steal of a price it was listed at when complete. No need for a new thread, I pretty happy with my old POS.

I'm glad XXX is going to a good home and look forward to see her back in action!

Pickup some used 1075's, install stage 4 kits and you'll have 1225hp+ on 91-octane that idle at 850rpm with full guardian safety.

This by far is your best option. You'll actually be able to boat and resale will be better with the merc power.
