What's the story on this? Anyone know? With everything he had "rebuilt" or "resealed" and "re-done" it is hard not to assume the obvious...but you never know..

It's Ted Links boat from DE. It has a clear history. Nothing has ever happened to it.

I'm not sure what "The Obvious" is ?? This boat has been meticulously maintained with a open check book. Why? Because I can! I own Links Marine and this is my personal boat, I have personally done all the work to the boat minus KE building the motors. Our service department specializes in "custom rigging" and have numerous awards backing it up. I assure you this is a first class rig. No disrespect to anyone's boat but go look at the salt boats then come see me!! Trust me its worth a look. I ran the boat twice last summer, I just dont use it anymore.

Yes, I believe he was the second owner of the boat and goes by Beak Boater on the boards.

Randy had trouble getting the rear carbs to tuned right, but I have to imagine that's been fixed given the hands it's in now. The boat was babied when Randy owned it.

Most people do not realize the amount of time and money it takes to keep a high performance boat in immaculate condition. Or in most cases they neglect all the maintenance. Good luck with the sale, nice looking boat.

That was the least of Randy's problems with this boat. Those problems and all the other ones are long gone. This boat is as reliable as a 525 boat. We did all this work in 07-08 and since then the boat has been Turn Key Always, That's why all the work was done to make sure it stays that way. A little TLC and Maintenance goes a Very Long Way. And used in Fresh Water??....well that speaks for itself.

OL boat is loaded and shows like new

Quad step vs. straight bottom, not to mention 8 years newer. Faster with a loaded cabin too... not all that similar IMO.

Plus the Cigarette is a 38....this is only a 37....big difference. :lolhit:

the speed on the OL should be fast at WOT under the right conditions

There is something to be said for a 10,000 lb V-Bottom full cabin boat that "cruises" at 90 mph at negative to zero boost with 203 gallons of fuel and 6 passengers and can spool up to 8-10 lbs of boost with rip your dick off acceleration up to 115-118 mph on pump gas.
