So if your saying a new 52 with 1350 and m 8 would be over a mil, witch I agree unless you work it a while. So for my fantasy deal for me that if i had the cash would try. You get this boat for 190-200k with a pass on leak down and valve check, and all fluids flushed it they hadn't done it already. I think I saw where they had done a ton to it and I am sure they are not scared to take care of it. I would then maybe run it 5-10 hours on it by the end of the season here and want to sell the power. should be able to get 60 maybe 80k for the power and exh.sys. Buy the 1100 TT use the old trans and #6 but rebuild 25-35k,I swear i saw the 1100's for 72k- 78k somewhere but not sure add another 200k in for 2 with install and stuff you have 350-360k in a boat for me as good as the mil. dollar one, They are both perfect for me.
1075's for a pair are listed in the classifieds for 49K and are still there. I contemplated a repower on AM II before I sold it but was lucky enough to be talked out of it for many reasons.
There's mounting new engines, transom work for exhaust, electrical is different, props need changed, throttles need changed for computer controlled throttle. And your not Fiore so you'll end up with a half ass re-rig that is no more fun then what's there now.

Boat needs to be sold to someone that appreciates it as it is. A repower will be crazy money and a headache.

Here's one for this thread most of merc's HP line have junk valve trains and heads. Take all that replace with good stuff. And you'll be surprised how many hours you can go. I got a set of 575's with 523 hrs on the lower ends and 123 valve train cam etc. leak down is perfect. Also running 6lbs of boost made 742hp on dyno cost will be around 8000 a motor. Not trying to start anything just telling what we've done to some of merc HP engines. The 575's are in a 12000 pd 46 ec black thunder so those motors have a big load. Just my 2 cents
