Like Sutphen said because the customer can and we are building him a new boat. It will make a great boat for someone and runs really well with the 1350's.

What kind of deals are being cut to these guys that buy a new OL every year and trade it back in??? I highly doubt anybody except OL and the owners will ever hear anything even remotely close to the real figures. I will guarantee it doesn't cost them half as much as what most people think. I know a guy that bought a new Cig every other year for like 20 years and when all the numbers were crunched it was only costing him like $30k a year or $60k every two years for a new boat every two years. BTW this was also the case in the late 80's with 911s/SL's.........buy one new in 86 and get almost what you paid for it in trade in 89 for a new one. Of course with cars once the body changed, the car dropped in value.......boats don't change that much 2001 TS TG and a 2014 are essentially the same boat with a slight dash redesign in 2005/06 |
This 52 OL/OB is a great looking machine but I think I would have preferred the diesel powerplants it was originally built with (for longevity, economy and it still did 90 mph+)

That is one awesome open bow! Where did the owner use it and why did he want an open bow?
