Seen only a few of these for sale. Are there any more out there? I will have a trade. I have a 2000 38 Fountain Lightning. Also needs to run 90+.

I'm working on one now with fresh 700's and 6's. Short stagger. I think the owner is asking 120's

I'm a little curious about the "Excavator" 37 as well. It has been for sale for a long time It was listed at Trenton Marine for at least a year prior to the OL factory having it.
It has been listed with 352 hrs the entire time. I heard it sold and then it was relisted a few weeks later.

I think Trenton had it for sale for about 3 years. Must need a fair amount of work.

And yes, I will be selling my 37 OL soon. The engines will have 0 hours and as mentioned, dry sump 6's, staggered, etc. Almost all of the drivetrain is either new or has been refreshed, all good stuff at that. White interior and nice paint OL paint (so many of the 37/42 OLs had ugly interior colors and paint). Nice clean Myco trailer with new bearings and brakes as well.

Please feel free to contact Jamie (lil red) or myself if you're interested.

My 37 is for sale, original owner, fresh water only, dependable power , plus 90 mph boat, very clean, currently listed with Double R performance in Ontario pictures on that site, will possibly be at the OL factory mid September, open to offers

kevin67 09-16-2014 07:05 AM

I can vouch for 2 things- the 37 was our favorite boat EVER, and Hardcore's boat is likely the cleanest 37 in the world! Meticulous doesn't do it justice- it is an amazing piece and looks like it rolled out of the showroom.

SS930 09-16-2014 11:48 AM

Is Hardcore's boat the 1998 with triple HP500's and a mix of Bravos and a XR? If so, nice looking boat.

OL40SVX 09-16-2014 02:06 PM

Yes it is and I've been told is immaculate.

I MIGHT be persuaded so part with mine if somebody wants a VERY fast one with big power EFI and TOAD paint. If I sell mine, I am going to get a 42 or a cat. I've owned 2 of these things at the same time twice and I am not going through that again. :D Pics of mine are in the pics thread.

Thanks BG. It is hands down the best all around V Bottom that I have ever had or even driven for that matter. It is still a BEAST even by today's standards. I have never had anybody out accelerate me from 30 to 120. The 399 Skater V with 1200 YPM's could get me on the big end, but we would run exactly side by side jumping on the throttles at any speed down below 120. It's dialed in too. It does not porpoise or do anything out of character when you clamp down on it. It's like being shot out of a cannon. The GPS speedo can't come close to keeping up with it accelerating. You will be slowing down and the speedo is still climbing trying to get up to how fast you WERE going. :D

What happened to the one in the classifieds with #5s and no engines? Seemed like a good deal.
