39 Quattro looking for impressions

I'm looking for impressions of people who have been in and or owned or do own 39 Quattro's
How did they handle smooth water? Rough water? at certain kind of speeds it acted?
Who owns one with 700's and Nxt drives? How is that package?
I like the looks and size of the boat, wanting tru real feedback. Thanks!

Mike F told me they made a total of 18 39s, and most of them had 600s with ITS XR drives. Just an FYI, cause I was asking the same questions and was told finding an opinion may be tough :)

OK I'm open to impressions of the boat with any of the motor packages.
How do they run for stability?
How do they run for speed? with what packages?
How do they handle 1', 2', 3' water conditions?

I know there are not a ton of them out there, Some people on here must have ridden or owned one of these.

We have bought/traded for two Quattro's , in the last couple years. One was a 2005 with 600sci's, ITS, XR's, the other was a trip 525, ITS, XR's boat. Both boats ride very well in all water conditions, but you must be ready to drive them. They require an experienced driver ready to trim and tab the boat to get the most out of them and create a good ride. Speeds between the two boats are very close. The 600 boat runs in the upper 90's and the trip 525 boat will run just over 100mph.

Seating for 6 comfortably and a large cabin are pluses. Large rooster tail on the twin engine, moderate tail on the trip boat. Fuel consumption was very even between the boats. The trip boat was able to cruise at a much lower rpm, while the 600 boat would be building boost to be able to run 60-70 which takes more fuel.

All in all great boat, very fast compared to other boats in the same class. Just hard to find these days!

Guy i know got one this summer out of WI. Doesnt get on here much and not sure what he has for power but I saw the NXTs hanging off the back. When I talked to him in late August he didnt have enough seat time to really comment. Was coming from a 37 Bravo boat.

I have previously owned a 39 Quattro with 525's , boat is rock solid in 3,4,5 foot chop ,planes easily , all around great handling boat ..will stay on a plane at 25mph ...top speed 96 with the merc 5 blades ..apparently would run100 with Herrings ...only issue I had was the Bladder .... do your homework .......

It is my opinion that OL is one of the best looking moisture missiles on the water !

my understanding is the bad fuel cell boats were made in 2005+2006 is this correct? the boats newer than 2006 have a different tank and are fine, is this correct?
