I'm pretty sure that rain-x will scratch plastics and is meant to be used only on glass . Beautiful boat , best of luck with it :ernaehrung004:

I used rain-x recently for the same application, but it was on a fountain. In big water I was getting blinded by all the water hitting the windshield (salt was the least of my concerns at the time). After applying the rain-x, the spray rolled off much easier (it was still a little blinding for a second or two when bucket-loads rolled over the windshield), but I did notice the salt build-up seemed to be worse with the rain-x. I think what was happening was it was leaving micro beads of water everywhere which quickly dried up, leaving the salt behind. I was only traveling around 60mph, going faster might have been enough to get the mist to roll off, IDK.
I would suggest testing in a small area first. |
Keep it pinned and maintain a stiff upper lip and a tight azz hole. Then wash it off when when u get back......still looking cool doing it....
