Just going through an old thread - Did this boat sell?

What defined the "R" in difference to the standard production SL52??? (if you can call anything related to a SL52 as "standard"- LOL)

I'm pretty sure the "R" was added due to the 1650 race motors

T.Y... I wasn't sure if it was the power or a composite/race layup on the hull and decks that justified the designation
