37 Stiletto - How fast should it be?
How fast should a 37 Stiletto be with staggered 575sc's and Stellings extension boxes?
Thanks, Mark |
Re: 37 Stiletto - How fast should it be?

Re: 37 Stiletto - How fast should it be?
Another thing is, the owner is getting an extra 6-8 MPH when he is in it alone vs. when he has 2-3 passengers or about an additional 500-600 Lbs.
Are these boats that weight sensitive? Mark |
Re: 37 Stiletto - How fast should it be?
The speed change doesn't make sense. That is way too much of a speed difference. I barely see any speed change between 1 to 5 people. 6-8 mph is way off. At most it might be 1-2 mph . That boat with stock 575's should be in the 88-90 range . Tom

Re: 37 Stiletto - How fast should it be?
Another possibility: The owner has not had the boat a very long time and I am not sure how much time he has devoted to trying to find the "sweet spot" as far as the best settings for the drives and tabs.
Can any of you more experienced Stiletto owners shed some light on this possible issue? Mark |
