42 Ol
How fast is a non epoxy 42 with around 600 hp and are thier any around for sell.

Re: 42 Ol
I doubt you will find any 42's with 600 hp motors. They are built to run, usually double what horse power you are looking for. Their is a non epoxy 42 for sale in the Annapolis area called Schools In Session, I think he is running 1200 hp Sterlings though.

Re: 42 Ol
That is what figured but I don't need to run a 100 and have that much maintance. Maybe I could find one that would swap the motors out of my 37.

Re: 42 Ol
The first 42 that was built had 600sc and # 5 and i think it was in the low 90 mph
It was the no discipline |
Re: 42 Ol
I loved the looks of that boat, just could not swing the $$ when it was for sale. I will just look and see what comes up for sale.

Re: 42 Ol
No Discipline had 800's. I looked at trading my 2001 37 OL w/ 575's on it when it was for sale about a year ago and they wanted my boat and 110k. Needless to say, I did not buy it. The 42's seem to be very high priced.

Hey Mat ! No way was that boat worth your boat and $110 K !! |
Re: 42 Ol
I think "No Discipline" originally came from the factory with the 600sc's, then Pete put in the bigger motors later...I read that in an article somewhere if I recall correctly:)

Re: 42 Ol
Trenton's 42 is available w/ or w/o power .... but He's still advertises it as new ? I'm sure there are quite a few out there you could get without power if you REALLY wanted it bad enough :D Only problem ... those # 6 drives eat HP up with weight ect... Speaking of "NoDiscipline" last I saw it was being converted to #6 and bigger power at National .... Anybody know where it ended up ? That was a sweet ride ... and would have been what you wanted with the #5's

Re: 42 Ol
What's up Wes?? How's the new boat?
I didn't think it was a good deal either. I could have traded for a 2001 50ft Nor Tech Vee w/ 575's, loaded for my boat and 85k. I just wanted to stay around 42ft. |

I was in the elder No Disipline last summer, ran 94 MPH. Thought it had staggered 800s? There were five big folks in the boat at the time, plus my movie camera. <gg>
I'd love to have one, but can't afford the coin. |
Re: 42 OL
2000 42 No Discipline now has 850sc Sterlings and is back for sale at Outerlimits. Call OL factory for details

Re: 42 Ol
An epoxy 42 will run 100+ w/ tripple 525's & 116-118 w/ 850sci's & 125+ w/ 1075's. But the ride is unbeatable. I ran in a new 1075 boat at 1000 islands and we were begging for bigger water.
Call Lake Cumberland or Ocean Performance, they each have 42's for sale, The one at ocean is a epoxy 42 w/trip 525's. |
Re: 42 Ol
