Mike...
The boat looks great.
I'll come out and shoot some pics of your boat running when you do the sea trial on Friday if you like...
My "work boat" runs right along at 60+, so let me know....

Damn I miss my Pantera...

A 5 blade on a 24.
We need to hear more please...

T-Mone has all the notes on all the props we tested that day but he's being a slacker as far as posting them here. What I can tell you is this, when I drove the boat it felt like a completely different boat. As you guys know, when running a three blade on these narrow boats you need to "drive" the boat with a little wheel input to keep it balanced in rough water, of course you do with any boat but you guys that own these boats know what I'm talking about. Handling improves with a four blade and even more with a five blade. It's like the boat drives itself, you don't need to make corrections, it just goes straight, at 80 in a 1-3 ft chop. Into them, with them and quartering them the results are all the same. We were a little overpropped and had added 100lbs of weight to the bow before so the setup wasn't perfect for this prop but it was close. I'm interested to see how it does as far as midrange in 3-5 footers. It was an out of the box (not labbed) Hydromotive P5X. I don't know about the pitch, I'll let T-Mone post that

I spoke to Julie briefly about that day of testing.
That 5 blade cost over $1K!

Well Storm, we'll just have to hope for some used ones to surface then...
But remember, a good prop is the easiest way to make your boat perform better...
If you consider all the $$ we poor into our rigger just to gain a few mph, $1,000 may not be so bad... :drink:

Well, there is a way to put a silver lining on the $$.
It cost just a bit more than a new labbed bravo1! :D
