Clean VHF radio installs on a 28'???

Does anyone have any suggestions/pics for a clean install on a 28'? I'd prefer to get a unit with Mic controls so the radio could be out of the way- the intent being to have the mic located in the "valley" by the sticks. Also thinking a 3' antenna mounted in the valley next to the bolster, letting the antenna fold into the valley for covering etc.

Will be in Destin late August- to R&R and maybe join the poker run- can anybody twist my arm on whether poker runs deliver bang for th buck?
