Here are a few pictures from this past weekend. We took the boat over to a local high school on Friday afternoon even though we were running behind on the final details.

We put the boat in the water for the first time at 11:00 PM on Friday night and boat seem to run good in very dark and flat water conditions behind Haulover.

Had a drivers meeting and physicals at 5:30 AM and we ended up with very little sleep. The boat ran great and our customer did a good job of driving in his first offshore boat race. We took a hard shot from Joe Boxer ( Super Vee ) which also caused the trim pump on the drive unit not to work after the end of the 2nd lap but decided to finish the race since we were scheduled to run on Sunday also.

The boat will be repaired and be back soon. Our customer needs to put some more seat time in the boat and we need to play around with props and a few other things to maximize the boats performance.

Boat was displayed on Saturday at the U.S. ARMY display at the Ft. Lauderdale Air and Sea show.

Boat is powered by a Mercruiser 496 HO - 425 with CMI Headers. Want to thank Fred at Trick Marine for working with me on some of these parts.

OK, so what kinda #s are you seeing w/ that package?

And who pays for the damages to the boat? The owner? just curious.

Speed should be in the 77-78 MPH once we get it dialed in.Customer went with the Bravo 1 XR upgrade so it takes more power to push it.

Since most of the boats in P5 class are 28-29 footers we are looking more at handling than the top speed # since you can only run 72 MPH on GPS.

Boat has a unique cockpit with a center pod and the 2 race sit down seats closer together in the center.Post a few pictures soon.

Does anybody know what kind of seats are in this boat or where I could find some more info on them. I would love to see some pictures of the cockpit.
