where to get pantera parts?????

I just picked up a 79 pantera 24'... The boat is in really good shape but i want to order some new bow hatches for it, either something like the original or a newer style that fits would be fine. If i need any other misc. parts it would be cool to know of a place to get parts. "thanks"

Stormrider 06-11-2007 01:04 PM

call jo / pepe would be a good start.

tomcei 06-11-2007 06:17 PM

congrats on your 24

Pantera24 06-11-2007 06:20 PM

Nice...I called on that boat but never got a call back..now I know why. hahaha.. Let me ask is it orange and black or what color combination exactly.? Can't tell in the pic.

swung6 06-11-2007 08:52 PM

its kinda pastel orange almost peach and black.

Pantera24 06-11-2007 08:57 PM

Cool...I don't know what you have owned in the past as far as boats go but I can tell you without a doubt you just bought one the best 24' sport boats ever made. Congrats..where are you located? Michigan?

swung6 06-11-2007 09:02 PM

I have heard nothing but good things about pantera's. I live on lake st. clair, Michigan.

swung6 06-11-2007 09:33 PM

That thing is awesome!..... I'll get more pics over the weekend.... So back on the topic, where can i find some nice hatches for this thing? Anyone have a number for pantera? "thanks"

Number is 786-331-7100
If you can find a set of hatches like these I think it would compliment the old school look a lot better.

swung6 06-11-2007 09:57 PM

i would love to find a set of those. it has the same hatch as that now only black, these are a little rough tho. thanks for the #.

Pantera24 06-11-2007 10:05 PM

You might want to check and see if they are the same and just may have been painted. You maybe able to take them to a shop that does chrome/plating and they maybe able to remove the paint and refinish them. If you still want to replace them let me know and I maybe interested in them as is.

swung6 06-12-2007 09:29 AM

They look the same but they are made of a plastic material. One is cracked really bad in the corner.

swung6 06-18-2007 01:07 AM

Heres a camera phone pic in the water...............

thedonz 06-18-2007 06:14 PM

Very nice; I'm glad someone finally bought that boat. Congrats!.

G Man 06-18-2007 09:12 PM

seemed like a real good deal. I talked to this guy and he said the boat was called Trick or Treat because it is black and orange. The color scared me but it sure looks nice in the photos. Post more pics and congrats!

G Man 06-18-2007 09:19 PM

Pantera 24, do you still have the 85?

swung6 06-19-2007 09:09 AM

No, it's in Sweden since a couple of years.

I'm redoing the transom for the moment and it will be rigged with a Bravo drive, external steering and sit down race seats. It is in a pretty good condition besides the transom that was very wet...

robfrancis 10-11-2010 08:33 AM

The trick or treat was gone when I bought it as well as the pin striping on the transom. I'm tearing down the motor as we speek and will have it rebuilt because of a high leak down.

robfrancis 10-12-2010 06:51 PM

Hahaha, the transom is just done, will prepare for gelcoating today. Of course it's for sale but I just sold the bolster seats since I'm replacing with sit downs.
