Congrats on the new ride Griff. Looks awesome and rigged up with some nice goodies, boxes, CMI's and such. Hey I have a question about the stereo in your old boat, what amp and speakers did you install to get the sound of subs without actually having them? Thanks, Chris

Super cool boat and congrats. I am boatless as well now and never looked at the Active Thunder until this post. How would you compare the Active to a 31 Sonic. Arn't the Sonics sort of know for being heavy? The deck looks similer.

The sonic is a bit heavy and the 31 has at least 18" of swim platform in it so its more of a 29.5' boat where the AT is a true 32- don't gwet me wrong, the 32AT is no flyweight....

I've got a friend who has owned many decent brand offshore boats includinng a 28 Pantera, he said the Sonic was no where near the fit andf finish quality. They look good in the pics I've seen and seem tough, never saw one in person

It has 4 Babb(now DC GOLD) 6x9's and a Rockford Fosgate 500 or 550 4 channel amp. The amp puts out 65watts x 4. Those speakers ROCK. It even sounded very good before I added the amp. The head unit is just the basic non waterproof marine Clarion that I got from Overtons.

Congrats Griff. Been reading your posts here on OSO and over at MWBP. You should be proud. I'm sure you know my feelings on the 32 AT from our conversations. ;)

While I'm sure the guys here on the Pantera forum hate to lose you there's another way to look at it. I think you went from the best 28 every built to probably one of the best 32s ever built. :D

Congrats Griff. I love the AT's. They are a great big water boat.
