I just became a gold member today and would like to post some pics and get some advice on what x dimension i should be at for my 79 excalibur 24 I just built a motor 383 525 hp and have to update the drive to a bravo. and if i need to make any changes this would be the time.

My Dad had a 1980 24' Excalibur.
With a 400HP/454 TRS she ran low 70s.
I'm guessing your boat will weigh around 3500lbs dry.
Set the prop 4-1/2" to 5" below the bottom.
With 525HP, she should run in the high 70s to low 80s.

Anyone know the wear abouts of two 28 Panteras, one was a 1999 called Uncivilized bought in Port Clinton Ohio a few years ago. I think it went towards Maryland. The other was bought on ebay from the Cleveland Ohio area. It was named Water Heater and before that was at National Marine. I think that it was a 1982.
