"Chasing the unattainable"
I believe that with any sport or hobbies you become obsessed with, you can cross an invisible line and loose your innocence.
Now the object of your desire no longer has the same thrill and you can go back to the way it was. I've had this happen with several things-weight lifting, street cars, and now I see it happening with boats.

I think I have the same problems... I've just had my second shoulder surgery in 6 months because of my absolute obsession for weight lfiting/body building...

...this thread has taken a new turn....

Dude, a couple yrs back and you'd a been right.
I think that's "takes one to know one":party-smiley-004::cool-smiley-011:
You guys know it's true.
Lift weights and totally get into it, next thing you know your entering contests. Going to the gym is not the same.
Put a bump stick in your street car, next thing you know your at the strip. Now it's a boat. I want to race as well but i'm not going there.( I hope):angry-smiley-038:

Does any one know if the boat in RI Sonic Boom is sold I can not find it for sale any more. Last time I seen it on boat trader in august and it was for 29,900 looked like a good deal.

Dude! Sweet! 12-17-2007 08:57 AM

Never heard any word on it being sold. Here's the guy's contact info from the last ad.
