pantera
i found it through a guy on the internet. it was stored in a small building in oshkosh wisconsin. i got a long history on the boat. back in the early 80's border patrol took it from someone. it was used as a chase boat untill 1993. the engine blew and they never fixed it. it was stored at the kennedy space center for two years before it went to auction. a friend of the guy i bought it from picked it up at auction in 1994 from what i was told. the boat wasnt in the water for over 12 years. i bought it and built a 540bbc and have been blowing up trs drives ever since! i am putting a 500 horse 468bbc back in it. i have it taken apart right now for new paint. going solid white with the pantera eyes. will post pics when it's done.

24 pantera
Just bought 24 pantera/ python... I did a little fixing up of the old "z" type stripe with a checker version.. Can anyone tell me the difference between the python and pantera?
My ownership says mfg: Python and model: Pantera In these pages i see them as different boat names along with a host of others... Any help ? Thanks in advance.. Oh yeah, just minor built 350 4 barrel (for now! lol) and, Sorry but, How would you post a picture? ok all for now... |
Pantera and Python are two seperate manufactures...
The hull id number will tell you what you have..if it's starts with the letters "WCW" it is a Pantera, if it starts with "PYH" it's a Python. |
