Got the old stripes off now waiting on the new Pantera decals and thinking about doing some nice big green eyes on the side

How did you get the stripes off and did it leave any marks?

A lot of sanding and buffing. Slight ghost lines if you are up close and the sun hits it right other than that it turned out pretty good.

Hey - I think that's my old boat, unless there is another in the area with the same color scheme? Owned it from about 1988 until 2009 when time, money, and fitting the wife, 4 kids, and a dog on the boat just didn't work. If its the same boat, it had matching color scheme bolsters and swim pad upholstery. I assume those got updated, and the green pantera eyes were added?

Would love to see it again.

( We miss that boat - hoping the new checkmate will be as enjoyable once the engine gets running right and we can see how it handles some fun waves in the big lake! )
