Come on guys, maybe Nick's wife wants a blown alcohol flatty or hydro!

Ironman, you've got to bring that baot home! I still feel a bit guilty about buying it from you! After all those years, that thing is your boat! Go get 'er!

Yes, my wife does wear the pants. I guess I'll jsut have to get something bigger. I took her for a brutal ride this past Sunday and as much as I love cruising by myself...I can't get away with it all the time. The waves were too much for her this weekend at LOTO. Did you hear about the Baja that ejected 4 people at LOTO? I was hauling through the same water...it was a great ride though. Sean I just might be following in your footsteps? 28?

There seems to be a shortage of them :D

Dude! Sweet! 07-26-2007 04:53 PM

There's plenty of them if you've got the cash! Heck I saw a brand new one getting it's deck put on two days ago!

Nick, I might have to sell you my 28 so I can buy the 35!

(I'm kidding! Oh man, my wife would pinch my balls off with pliers if I brought that bad boy home! :D)

I hear ya! The 35 is badd azz! Will see what happens...I love the boat, can't say a bad thing about it. Best ride for a boat its size I've ridden in. The wife rules on this one. One thing all you tough guys have to remember...if mama ain't happy, no one's happy.

Dude! Sweet! 07-26-2007 11:34 PM

And just to back Nick up a bit... don't forget it's hard to drive half a boat!

But still may be worth it at that! :D

robltc 07-27-2007 02:33 PM

Nick,
I see you have swim steps... would you do me a favor? Can you take a couple of pics of the swim steps and the mounting? I'd really appreciate it. Also how wide and deep are they?

Thanks,
Troy

nick k 07-27-2007 05:35 PM

The boat is a couple hours away...I won't get to it this weekend, but I will the next. I'll take some pics for you.

I'm pretty geeked!!!
This is what I've been looking for, for a few years now.
I'm taking the risk to buy it sight unseen, but being the boat has been through the hands of a few OSO'ers I feel confident.
And, Nick sounded like a very straight shooter talking to him today.
I can't wait to bring her home.:cool-smiley-011: :D

Tim, you will love it! Hopefully you can hang on to it longer than I did. Best 24 out there!

I'm pretty jazzed - trying to breath deep and slow.
So far I've spent my entire morning searching OSO for additional pics of my new toy.
Pantera's website was down yesterday - need to try it again today. The wife already wants stickers for the rear window of her Hummer:cool-smiley-011:

Stormrider 07-29-2007 09:34 PM

NICE!!! Congrats!

TexomaPowerboater 07-29-2007 09:36 PM

Here's a couple (which you've probably seen elsewhere). Great boat. You'll be very happy! Nick, enjoy your new pontoon boat! :D

Anyone recognize that red dodge or the driver in the bottom photo? I'd like to see someone at another manufacturer send a member of their immediate family to deliver a 27 year old boat cross country!

I would trust Barie to transport the space shuttle, she is the best person for the job.

There's nothing wrong with a pontoon w/twin 250 OBs.:party-smiley-048:
