Patriot Games is staying in the family...
Well, sort of.......:)
My soon to be ex-wife Tina loves the boat and is keeping it. It'll be kept on the lift in the community dock at the house on Beaver Lake. She's run it a bunch when I'm gone racing and handles it just fine, on the lake, around the docks and rafting up. I suspect I'll retain visitation/maintenance rights:) It's a pretty friendly split and should stay that way, we do fine as brother/sister type friends- it's the rest that we struggle with. I'll downsize somewhat, get a smaller cat and or lose the toterhome in the interest of a single income budget. Kids (14 and 22) are taking it just fine. For those that might guess I'm getting a lopsided deal, I'm keeping an equal share of assets/equity, mostly rental property. |
Sorry to hear about the split, but happy that you guys are working together - I have been through the same typr of thing and my ex-wife and I get along for the most part...
Make sure that you look into the Pantera Pictures so you can see that their are now some up-dated pictures of my Pantera Good Luck & Keep In Touch... |

Until that 1st time you are "tuning and testing" the boat for her after some maintenance with some other kitties on there and then she goes ape chit!
I do like the Pantera and love the engine/acceleration. I'm thinking of trading one yr maint for one long weekend with the boat/kids taking it to Destin- seems like a reasonable deal to me:) I'd take the Daytona, but the Pantera is better suited and my boxed steel trailer for the Daytona might object... eventually anyway. |
Thats too bad about the break up. But atleast you get to keep the pantera.

I'm keeping the Daytona- SHE keeps the Pantera:) |
sorry about the break up.
I guess the pantera 'asset wise' is worth more than a sale of it. ;) Best of luck to you. |

Actually, with the market like it is and similar guestimate equities we left the 2 boats and toter off the asset list, we walk away, her with the Pantera and me with the Daytona/ Toter, are free to sell at whatever price we want and live with it. |
Damn dude! Well there you go, not only dangerous in high speed turns and bad in rough water, but Cats break up marriages! :D
Ken, sorry to hear about your troubles. But, if you ever get down about it, pop in "War of the Roses", smile and know it could have gone a lot worse! (And trust me, that movie isn't my only reference to how stuff like that can go very ugly very quickly!) Good luck! |

Since she's only like your sister now, whats her number? . . .I love that boat!! :D
Just kidding!! Glad to hear you were able to work something out. We have an ex-employee that is a "person of interest" in the disappearance of his wife...certainly can't be worth it. |
