JO

That's what I was thinking. Has anyone interested in the boat asked Scott at Shogren about this?

When I spoke with greg he said it was probably set this way for reliability reasons. Original owner had the boat set up this way. Brings the whole thing back around again. Why? Yes full engine and drive check would give sometimes a better perspective of things. All depends on how far you really want to go or how much doubt you really have in it.

The drive is about 2-7/8 " or 3". I measured it last week.

There is nothing wrong with the engine or the boat. You guys are reading way too much into this. If you saw the boat you could see it is mint.

Scott Shogren is real nice guy and an honest person. If you are interested, I'd call him and make a move on a great boat at a unbelievable price.

I agree, this is the most overanalyzed boat on the market. If your worried about the boat then have your mechanic go through it.

I think the problem is Jo himself had the boat at 90+ and now it barely cracks 80. If I were in the market I would want to know the REAL story.

Elite Marine 08-14-2007 05:35 PM

Scott has had thhe boat over 90 easily.

Kirk, this is my point. :D Why will it only crack 80 now?
