Subuliminal messages? The second ad is a 2.5 OB.

I think jeff's shopping for his other ride!
here's the correct link to the 28.

Ha! I thought he was trying to talk us into getting that outboard boat!

You ever find "Little Fish"? I saw what appeared to be the owner had posted in that big Pantera History thread.

Stormrider 08-15-2007 03:38 PM

Dude... you read that whole thread, again? :signs069:

Dude! Sweet! 08-15-2007 03:50 PM

Skimmed... :D

At least it's boats and not PCP!

Oops. :D :D

Can't have too many of those motors laying around. ;) That's what happens when you flip back and forth between here and Scream & Fly. :cool-smiley-011:

At least I'm not the only one wasting huge amounts of time on two boat forums!

Looks like she took out the sit down seats and added some bolsters.

I didn't know you had to winterize the outdrives...............is that a northern thing?

Jigsaw89 08-15-2007 10:11 PM

I've always changed the outdrive gear lube prior to covering the boat for winter... that's it.

I guess if you leave the drive tilted up and don't cover the "exhaust" hole in the prop, you could get enough rain in there that could freeze and crack the housing (but I really doubt it). I thought someone test drove this earlier this year and lunched the drive.

Jigsaw89 08-16-2007 12:07 PM

I've heard this too and make sure my drive is fully down for outside winter storage.

BTW, I sent the seller a message via ebay asking whether that was mold pictured on the underside of the engine hatch. His response, "Dirt and its all clean now!" That's a good one, bchavez! LOL

IMO, this boat appears to be a project.
