Great.........except now everytime I go to the website it sends me to a blank white page. This happened last night and today with two different computers.

JO - PANTERABOATS 09-19-2007 04:29 PM

Our new web designer is still working all the bugs out. It has been a huge puzzle to put those sections back together and not loose all of our customers boats information.
In the next couple of days it will be back to 100 %.

Regards,

JO

I definately understand.
I'm currently on a project to update a computer system/program that wasn't maintained for over a year.
On the surface it looks like "we just need to update it" - once you get into it, it's a nightmare.
It would have been a helluva lot easier to just start fresh.
It's a daunting task.
Glad you decided to take it on and not lose all the great history and the things you've already accumulated.

TexomaPowerboater 09-19-2007 07:42 PM

Looking forward to it.

Jamie, It is my boat at a state picnic dock that I have a season pass to. Pismo10 got the really nice shots with his camera that day after our trip to the Hacker Boat Co. for a tour.

Let me know.

Hey Chris ,

The boat looks really good ! Glad to see that you went with fairing over the windshield & those bolsters also look much better cut down.

Thanks, The original gelcoat still looks good, there are a few spots that will need a little more polishing before next summer. Until I can make a final decision on sit down vs stand up I am using that interior. I only reduced the height by 2" and dropped the bottoms by 2". Chris

littledcsrodshop 10-29-2007 08:44 PM

My vote is for the bolsters & not sit downs especially in a 28. As I have said before no offense to the sitdown fans because they seem to be the majority on here , I have just always been a fan of the classic bolsters... Although I have no doubt that the newer style sitdowns a very comfy & serve there purpose really well..

I take it you got your drive taken care of ?

IRONMAN 10-30-2007 07:19 AM

Completely rebuilt drive, I am adding remote oil reservoir and drive cooling too. I ran 15 hours of easy break in then 10 more after that with no problems. Maybe I should just recover the interior in white.

Glad to hear the drive is working out. I wouldn't think you will have any more problems with it as long as everything is right ( which I am sure it is ) , Although I was surprised that you had any to start with. From what I have heard those drives are Super Tough !

I never was the biggest fan of the red interior on the blue But to be honest it looks really good in the pictures... White would look good but man is it hard to keep clean ! Just put you some small flags up front & it will all blend in.... Its kinda funny because my very next boat ended up with the same color interior....

seriously, thats unbelievably beautiful...
but in all honesty, if my backyard looked like that... i'd be pissed having ot hear bbc V8s running w/ no muffler system.:hitfan:

tomcei 11-01-2007 06:52 PM

Those cliffs look like some areas on Smith Lake in AL.
Very nice.

I don't know Storm-Audio and video seem to go well together:cool-smiley-027:

At least there's water in your lake. I've forgot what it looks like not to see a dirt bank

Stormrider 11-01-2007 08:48 PM

i could just imagine sitting in my cabin, overlooking the peaceful serene scenery, and then whaaaoooomm!
Not like sittin on your deck on the intercoastal, you expect it there.
Should be an ad, w/ a scene right out of 'on golden pond', w/a couple of offshore's blastin' by old fonda. :D
sorry guys... just thinkin out loud.

No doubt there's a better place than the above pic for gansta' power:cool-smiley-026:

Dude! Sweet! 11-02-2007 12:06 PM

Man, I used to go to a rugby torunament in Saranac Lake every year... Pastoral setting punctuated by drunken mayhem!

I'd be perfectly happy to sit on the deck of my cabin and hear dry pipes! Heck, I drive all the way to Pomona to get my ears busted by fuel cars! :D :D

Rob we've got to get you another boat soon! The medication is wearing off!

Stormrider 11-02-2007 01:36 PM

i think depression is settin' in. :(

but imo, there is a reason these are called offshore boats...
i believe don didn't mean for his creations to be running lakes any smaller than Michigan. :)

these small lakes are getting strict noise regulations...
no ones bustin' balls out in the atlantic! :D

Really Rob, If you are up this way and it is blowin 20+ call me and we can find some really nice snotty 3'ers to run on but here we won't ever see the 5 and 6 stuff that Albert and Jo are kings of.

Dude, I camp every summer on a pond past upper Saranac and some guy shows up on the1/2 mile pond with a 240 baja and through hulls and it seems even too much for me( I bring a 15 whaler) Most campers there are in canoes and kayaks I laughed so hard beer came out of my nose when I heard him try to plane off.

Me too. I love it. We're on a peninsula, and while we out in the driveway moving in this spring, I would occasionally hear the sound of big motors running hard out on the lake. The scenery here isn't as sweet as those shots in the thread but I have no complaints.

I could only imagine the echo coming off those rock walls would be incredible.

More pics please
